Notice to Exhibitors

 

ENTRIES CLOSE AT 6 P.M., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2010 after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled, altered, or substituted.  Changes, additions or corrections must be received in writing prior to close of entries.  Those received by telephone are not acceptable.

 

MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE to Springfield, Missouri Dog Training Club (SMDTC).  ALL ENTRIES MUST BE MAILED WITH FEES to: Margery West, 5143 S. Dollison, Springfield, MO 65810.

 

RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee.  The Trial Secretary will add $25.00 fee to the amount of each returned check.

 

ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED without fees or signature. Entries not on Official AKC forms and photocopies of entry forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC entry form are not acceptable.  No entry shall be made and no entry accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance.

 

ENTRY FEE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED for errors on entry blanks or for cancellation of entries after published closing date. There will be no refund in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by the Trial Committee.  Entry fees will not be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, or act of God, public emergency, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Springfield, Missouri Dog Training Club.

 

THE SPRINGFIELD, MO DOG TRAINING CLUB, the Trial Secretary, Trial Chairperson, Trial Committee, etc. assume no responsibility for the loss, damage, or injury sustained by spectators, exhibitors, exhibitors' property, their dogs and further, assume no responsibility for injury to children.

 

DOGS NEED TO BE PRESENT for scheduled judging.  Consult judging program for time of judging.  JUDGES NEED NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG holding up a class.  Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dog in the ring. 

 

MOVE-UPS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Obedience and Rally Move-ups must be given to the Trial Secretary by 30 minutes before trial start time.

 

JUMPS: Please put the jump height on the obedience and/or rally entry (if your dog is entered in a class with jumps). On Friday obedience and rally jump heights will be set highest to lowest. On Saturday all jumps will be set lowest to highest. On Sunday all jumps will be set highest to lowest.

 

ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH OR CRATED except when being judged.

 

BITCHES IN SEASON are not permitted in the trial.  Entry fees for bitches that come into season after closing date will be refunded minus $5.00.  A written statement from a veterinarian must be provided on or before the day of the trial.

 

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING FACILITY. 

 

CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED by an adult at all times.  NO STROLLERS ALLOWED.

 

PLEASE TURN OFF CELL PHONES AND PAGERS AT RINGSIDE.

 

ALL EXHIBITORS MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS.

From Hwy 65 North or South, go west on I-44 to Kansas Ave and go north (right). Immediately turn right onto Norton Road and go to the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds (follow dog show signs).

 

From I-44 west or east, go north on Kansas Ave. (Hwy 13). Immediately turn right onto Norton Road and follow directions above.

Reserve your three-day catalog by pre-ordering.

Indicate the number of catalogs you want to reserve on your entry form, and include $4.00 per catalog.  There will be a very limited number of catalogs at $5.00 each available at the trial.

      Each Obedience entry fee includes a 50 cent AKC recording fee and $3.00

       AKC Event Service Fee.

First Entry Each Dog/Each Day in Regular or Optional Titling Class… $24.00

Each Additional Entry of Same Dog/Same Day in Regular or

                 Optional Titling Class…....................................... …$17.00

      

Each Rally entry fee includes a $3.00 A.K.C. recording fee.

Obedience and Rally are two SEPARATE EVENTS. The “additional entry”

fee is only applicable within each event.

Rent-a-Ring

Three rings will be available for rental on Thursday afternoon after 5:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday afternoons after the trials.

Novice – Open - Utility

$10 for 10 Minutes

Please sign up By 4:30 p.m. on Thursday

And By 3:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday

First Come – First Served!
