[Application for Training]   Rescue Discount - One time only $10 discount for dogs adopted from the SW Mo. Humane Society or a reputable rescue upon presentation of an adoption contract. PLEASE NOTE: Dogs adopted from shelters must be in the new owner's home at least two (2) weeks PRIOR to the dog attending class.
 Senior Discount - $5 discount for seniors (65+) on all classes.  These discounts may not be combined with the "Package Pricing" options.

Ring Ready - (Prerequisite:  Novice)  Class Fee:  $80 - This is an obedience ring preparation class consisting mainly of Novice practice runs.  The class will include rules, handling, footwork, ring procedure, pre-ring handling, etc.- Each class lasts 1 hr. - 6 weeks   First priority given to those who have not previously had the class.
         
Come When Called -   Class Fee:  $50 - Each class lasts 30 mins. - 4 weeks.   Prerequisite: Dog must be 4 months old or older. Puppy Soc 1 or Home Manners class a plus, but not required. No aggressive dogs. The goal of the class is to teach owners how to teach their dogs to come when called reliably in real life situations.
         
Competition Heeling and Handling (Prerequisite:  Novice)  Class Fee:  $80 - 30 min. class of ring preparation and proofing for Novice, Open and Utility heeling.   Concurrent with Open & Utility and is included in the class fee for those classes.  Novice handlers are encouraged to work in Open on exercises other than heeling.- 6 weeks

Rally Novice - Class lasts 1 hr. - 6 weeks.  Class Fee $80   Prerequisite - Obedience/Rally Skills.  This class teaches the signs, proper
handling and the AKC rules for novice rally.
Monday Sept. 8-Oct.13(90 minutes-with Rally Advanced second half)This class is full! 6:00 PM Room 2 Margery W.
Rally Advanced - Class lasts 1 hr. - 6 weeks.  Class Fee $80  Prerequisite:  Obedience/Rally Skills class or equivalent training.  This class teaches the signs and handling in Advanced and Excellent rally.
 
Monday Sept. 8-Oct. 13(90 minutes-with Rally Novice first half)This class is full! 6:00 PM Room 2 Margery W.
Clicker Class - 6 weeks.  Class Fee $80  Introduces a new way to communicate with your dog using the "clicker."   Can be used for obedience, conformation, agility, tricks, and freestyle.  Clickers will be supplied.    Bring dog, LOTS of treats, and an open mind.   Be prepared to have fun!

Special Children's Class - Class Fee $40 - 4 weeks (lasts 1.5 hrs)  A fun class for kids aged 5-13, including a combination of obedience, conformation, agility, games, and tricks.  Child must be able to handle their dog.  Dogs must be mature & accepting of other dogs & kids

Obedience/Agility Skills - Class lasts 1 hr. - 6 weeks.   Class fee:  $80   Prerequisite:  Home Manners or Versatile Puppy.   This course will help handlers and their dogs build on the basic skills they began learning in Home Manners or in the three consecutive puppy classes (Puppy Socialization, Agile Pup, and Versatile Pup) and show how these skills may be applied in agility training.    While this course will serve as a foundation for those wishing to continue their agility training, it is also intended to improve general handling skills, build confidence in both handlers and their dogs, and enhance the relationship between people and their canine companions. This class is designed for one working dog per student due to simultaneous exercises.

Agility Basics-Contacts - Class lasts 1 hr. - 6 weeks.  Class Fee:  $80   
Prerequisite: Obedience/Agility Skills OR Demonstrating to a member of the Agility Committee before class starts the following exercises: Go to the Table for a 10 second sit stay and a 10 second down stay, controlled walking on a loose leash, recalls to handler over a jump and on the flat, demonstrate an understanding the target plate, demonstrate hand awareness flat work, demonstrate contact touch command on the low dog walk, and demonstrate good jumping skills and send to the tunnel.  The purpose of this class is to start or re-learn the contact obstacles in agility, channels weaves and open and closed tunnels.   This class is designed for one working dog per student due to simultaneous exercises. The class limit for this class is 10.

Novice Agility - Prerequisite:  Agility Basics-Contacts & Jumps, and dog must be able to run short sequences of agility obstacles off leash in order to start preparing to show at the novice level.  Thus, off-leash control of the dog is required. Class limited to 10 dogs.  Class lasts 1 hr. - 6 weeks.  Class Fee:  $80
